
BHOP INTERCESSORY MISSIONARY PROGRAM FAQs
What would my weekly schedule look like?
BHOP Intercessory Missionaries are required to contribute 30hrs/week to the HOP. Schedules will vary depending on the IM’s skill set, ministry giftings, and the needs of the HOP.
All IMs will participate in the following events throughout the week:
- -Participation in live worship watches
-Time in the prayer room (without responsibility)
-Time spent serving the HOP in different capacities (ex: administration, sound/video tech, special projects, etc)
-Weekly gatherings
-Small groups
-Personal study
When are the start dates for the program?
January, September
What is the length of the IM program?
Intercessory Missionaries commit to at least one year at BHOP. Beyond the initial year, there will be evaluation points every six months.
What are the costs?
Monthly fees are calculated as follows:
- -$250/month (one bedroom, dual occupancy)
-$325/month (one bedroom, single occupancy)

What does my monthly fee cover?
-Housing
-3 meals a day
-Laundry facilities (free except BYO detergent, etc)
-Utilities
-Phone (land-line, local calls)
Can I work part-time while I’m a BHOP Intercessory Missionary?
BHOP encourages Intercessory Missionaries to raise support for their monthly fees. However, they may get a part time job as long as it fits in their schedule with BHOP.
As an Intercessory Missionary, is the financial support I receive tax-deductible?
Yes. BHOP Intercessory Missionaries can receive donations through Bethany International. More info on that will be given upon acceptance.
How will I know I am accepted?
An email will be sent to you letting you know of your acceptance to the program.
Do I need medical coverage?
No, however we do encourage all Intercessory Missionaries and their dependents to be enrolled in a medical coverage plan.
